VOLTCRAFT MINI IR 10 is a compact pyrometer that measures banger temperature without touching the hot surface. Just point it at the bottom of the nail and you’ll have a reading on the backlit LCD display in moments. Thanks to its small size (Ø13 × 126 mm, 42 g) and keyring with carabiner clip, you always have it on hand – in your pocket, on your keys, or in your accessory bag.

How to use

Point the thermometer at the bottom of the banger from a distance of about 5–15 cm and read the result on the display. The emissivity is fixed (0.95), which works well on quartz and ceramic surfaces – for titanium, the reading may differ slightly from the actual temperature.

This is the compact version (1:1 optics) – for precise measurements from a greater distance, we recommend models with a higher optical ratio. The MINI IR 10 is great as a quick, handy everyday temperature check.
